Made from superior components over the traditional rubber hoses, Stainless Steel Brake Hoses are made with a Teflon® inner tube which provides the passage for brake fluid, whilst rubber hoses are constructed with a Nylon inner.
Standard rubber brake hoses traditionally fitted to cars and motorbikes have a relatively short reliable lifespan (estimated at typically 6 years). After this time they can become safety hazards.
Stainless steel brake hoses do not easily succumb to ‘wear and tear’ that rubber hoses face, including cracking, fracturing & swelling.
Firmer Pedal Feel
Because Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses don’t expand under extreme pressure the brake fluid has a direct entry into the Brake Caliper. This provides a firmer and more responsive pedal feel, eliminating the ‘spongy’ feeling that can be caused by rubber hoses.
The standard rubber brake hose expands under pressure, which can be fairly regularly depending on your driving style. As the rubber hose expands and stretches over time and they will eventually no longer perform in a safe and reliable manner. Stainless steel brake lines do not have this problem which contributes to their longevity.
Whether you plan on showing your car, just want a nicer finish to complement your Brake system or you want to add some extra colour to your motorbike, Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses are the perfect touch. Coming in a range of colours of
